The team at Software Design were delighted to be selected again by the IEDR to provide technical and consultative e-commerce services to 10 winners of the IEDR OPTIMISE e-Commerce Website Development Fund 2013. The fund provides €150,000 worth of professional consultancy and support to help 20 Irish SMEs and micro-enterprises upgrade their online presence and grow their business using the Internet as a sales and marketing channel.

Following a record number of entries, the 20 winning companies were selected from over 350 entries by an independent panel of judges comprising leading Irish business and technology experts. They include family run businesses, as well as emerging and established companies from the food, travel & tourism, media & publishing, retail and technology sectors (full list of winners).

Commenting on the decision to retain the services of Software Design for 2013, Mr. David Curtin, Chief Executive of IE Domain Registry, said “We chose Software Design as our partner to manage the delivery of the IEDR’s OPTIMISE Fund and since that time they have consistently proven their expertise in the fields of e-commerce, website design, social media and software development. Paul and his team provide comprehensive solutions to complex issues while demonstrating a relentless willingness to work with us to achieve our goals on time and within budget.”
