We are currently looking a front end developer to join our team. A frontend wizard, coding valid HTML and CSS mark-up preferably with experience in SASS or LESS. You love using JQuery or other javascript frameworks to create rich interactive content and developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
Front End Developer
You’re constantly on top of your game, learning new techniques and keeping abreast of industry/sector developments. You have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate your ideas clearly with your team and clients.
Responsibilities
- Production, modification and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces
- Work closely with designers to ensure that the websites and applications are implemented seamlessly with the content management systems.
- Work closely with server-side developers to implement their server-side code in order to develop complex, interactive and database driven websites. Provide accurate timing estimates on work.
- Contribute to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification).
- Discuss technical solutions with clients and provide innovative new ideas and solutions
Required skills and experience
- 3rd level education in relevant discipline essential
- 1+ years’ proven experience of frontend commercial application programming HTML5, CSS, Javascript and Javascript libraries
- Proven experience in producing compliant, accessible, responsive websites at enterprise level
- Proven experience in implementing CMS solutions, in particular WordPress
- Proven experience in implementing front end responsive framework e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation, LESS CSS, SAAS CSS
